iBlog6: The 6th Philippine Blogging Summit will be on April 16 and 17, 2010 at the Malcolm Theater, UP College of Law, UP Diliman, Quezon City from 8 am to 5 pm.

Note that the first 250 registered participants to come early (on or before 9 am) will be given food stub and participant kit. Afterwards, remaining food stubs and participant kits shall be given to early walk-ins.

iBlog6 will be two days this year. The first day (April 16) is targeted for businesses and entrepreneurs wanting to understand how to tap blogs as a medium to promote their products and services. The second day (April 17) is meant to everyone interested about blogging. REGISTER NOW!

The University of the Philippines College of Law Internet and Society Program (UP Law-ISP) will be hosting iBLOG 6: The 6th Philippine Blogging Summit—an open event for the Pinoy blogging community.

For five years now, the UP Law-ISP has been hosting successful Philippine Blogging Summits so that these events become highly-anticipated interaction venues, where famous Pinoy bloggers give informative talks and more than 300 bloggers attend.

The 6th Philippine Blogging Summit will be held on April 16 and 17, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Malcolm Theater, Malcolm Hall, College of Law, U.P. Diliman Campus, Quezon City.

Call for Speakers and Topics for iBlog6 10

Hello everyone. We are now gearing up for iBlog6: the 6th Philippine Blogging Summit. In this regard, we would like to invite interested speakers to submit their names for consideration as a resource person for iBlog6 and/or submit a topic proposal for consideration on or before January 31, 2010.

iBlog6 is targeted to take place on April 16 and 17. The first day will focus on Blogging for Business (entrepreneurs, corporations, non-government organizations, and similar entities). We would be pleased to receive proposals on topics that can help businesses better understand how they can tap blogs as a marketing and promotional tool, and how to work effectively with bloggers to achieve that purpose (i.e. through events, contests, advertising, and the like).

The second day will focus on topics of interest for Bloggers in general, such as introduction to blogging, use of photos and videos, blogging policies, and blog promotion. We are also interested in discussing political blogging, election coverage, and building offline blogging communities.

Submit your name and topic proposal on or before January 31. The approved topics and final agenda as well as speakers for summit will be posted on the 1st week of February.

iBlog3: the 3rd Philippine Blogging Summit will be held at the School of Economics Auditorium, in UP Diliman, Quezon City this April 13 and 14, 2007. This event is organized by the University of the Philippines – Internet Society Program.

Connie studied law at the University of the Philippines College of Law and passed the bar in 1991. Connie practiced for several years but then decided to just freelance. She enjoys writing about current issues and analyzing the political situation for Sassy Lawyer.
