We are looking for a dozen (or so) volunteers to help us out during the event itself.

Blogger Wranglers
reception and check-in of registrants, attendees and speakers. ushering. some gophering. some crowd control and food distribution. miscellaneous people stuff.

Astromech Droids
cables, ports, the whole data-plumbing thing. prepping projectors, laptops, and storage media. monitoring network access. miscellaneous computer stuff.

Camera Cowgirls/Cowboys
catching those special moments. the drama. the fun. a speaker’s faux pas. we’ll give you freedom to roam. you can play depressed, tormented artist. all your pictures are belong to us (no not really, but we’d really like to borrow them all, with full credits to you).

The 3rd Philippine Blogging Summit will be held on April 13 and April 14, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Penthouse, Espiritu Hall, College of Law, U.P. Diliman Campus, Quezon City.

UP Law-ISP is extending a special low cost opportunity for companies to support this major event for the Philippine blogging community, which in turn increases visibility for them.

I am pleased to announce that plans for iBlog 3 are a-hatching. Details aren’t here yet, but so far:

* It will be held mid-April this year. UPDATE April 13-14 is the working date for iBlog 3.

* It’ll be two days long, with bigger plenary sessions and (hopefully) lots of smaller, more-specialized sessions.

* More topics, and more stuff.

* And of course, iBlog will still be FREE.

This year we hope to get more of the blogging community involved. We’d like to invite everyone to suggest themes, topics and speakers for this year’s sessions. You can send your session ideas to: jtoral[at-sign]iblogph.org.
