We’re looking for more content for iBlog5, preferrably relating to more advanced issues in blogging or the Philippine blogosphere. We’re planning to open up 2 hours of sessions in another room at the Malcolm Hall for this purpose. If you have an interesting topic you’d like to share with other bloggers, feel free to send us an email at newtopics [at] iblogph [dot] org. Kindly indicate your preferred speaking time (we’re looking at 10-11 AM and 2-3PM). The organizers will sit down on April 15, 2009 at 10:00AM (GMT +8) to discuss your proposals and will contact you directly. Thanks!
UPDATE
We have discussed your many suggestions in our meeting today and we have decided that we will not be holding parallel sessions this year for the iBlog5. Despite the interesting and varied topics that were suggested, we decided that it would be best to have everyone attend the plenary. Our experience in the one of the previous iBlog was that having simultaneous sessions tended to distract the bloggers from the plenary session or distract those in the separate discussions rooms.
Again, we thank all those who emailed their suggestions and shared their ideas with us. We hope that next year you will still be available for possible parallel sessions. We assure you that next year, we will consider having simultaneous sessions and include it in the early planning of the event. We hope you will still share your great ideas with us. Thanks!

Registration via the iBlog Website will be closed by 5 P.M. (Manila Time) today. The registration will give us a rough idea on how many people will attend and how we should allocate resources: seats, food, freebies, and nametags. Although registration is not a guarantee that you’ll have all these, we do try to prioritize registered bloggers – up to a certain point.
If you will be unable to attend the event, please email Janette through: digitalfilipino[that-well-known-at-sign]gmail.com.
Check in will start at 8 o clock A.M. on April 26. Those who registered through the website would still need to sign-in to get their name badges.
Some other things to remember:
Please keep your mobile phones/wireless gadgets SILENT during the event.
Casual wear is encouraged (unless it’s not, you know, your thing
Those who may wish to volunteer as support staff may do so. Details over at http://ituloy–angsulong.blogspot.com/2008/04/call-for-volunteers-iblog4-4th.html
